Hello Diva Whisper,
Nice to see you!!!
DW: I am so glad you could join me today for this
interview. Please have a seat and get comfortable. Would you like some iced tea? A
cookie perhaps?
DR: Tea and Cookies sound DIVINE...thank you!
DW: How are you today?
DR: I am as well as can be expected for a Monday!!!
DW: This is so exciting! Our first official Divine Diva
interview! Shall we get started?
DR: Certainly
DW: Great! Here we go!
DW: Could you tell me how you came up with the idea for
Divine Divas of the Web?
DR: Divine Diva's of the Web has been an idea in formation
for quite a while. I was sure that the web needed a Women's group who would stick together
through thick and thin, offer advice to one another and just generally "be
there" for each other. I thought it would be terrific to interact with women on
Common Ground....the Internet. Although we have many different interests and ideas...we
still have one thing in common....THE WORLD WIDE WEB.
DW: What do you think of how well received the Divas were
at the beginning?
DR: I was very pleased at how well the Diva were received.
DW: Were you as astounded as I was at how
quickly the Divas have grown?
DR: The growth of Divine Diva of the Web is truly astounding!!!
This group has grown faster than my greatest expectations and continues to exceed anything
I could have imagined. It is proof positive that although we are independent women, we
still share a need for friendship...and I am grateful for each and every member of Divine
Diva. It takes a special woman to belong to such a group. Giving of yourself is a true
testement to inner strength...and no one does it better than the Divine Diva!!!
DW: How do you find the time to juggle a web design
business, the Divine Divas, the Site Fights and family?
DR: Time??? Time??? I don't think I have accomplished
managing time. I do the best I can with a toddler in the House. Cassidy is at the
stage where she is very demanding. We spend a lot of "Mommy and Daughter" time
just reading books or playing at the park. She does not like the computer to have mommy's
attention and will do her best to sabatoge all efforts I make at certain times of the day.
I try to do most of my work when it
does not interfere with the important part of her day. I am a Mommy FIRST and FOREMOST and
my children are the most important part of my world. I intend to enjoy every moment of
them that I can get. I dearly love my computer but at this point I can only work a certain
amount of time without retaliation from the "Peanut Gallery".
DW: What do you think of the support that the Divas give
to each other?
DR: It is phenomenal, wonderful, inspiring,
touching....how can I explain it??? This support is exactly what I had in mind for the
Diva to provide to one another.
DW: The Diva website has gone through several changes
lately. Do you see more changes coming? More being added to it?
DR: Yes, I see the site growing and growing...offering
more and more.
DW: What do you envision for the Divas in the future?
DR: My Vision for the future is the
expansion of the Diva into every related field on the internet. I would Love to see the
Diva become an organization who has a presence in Major issues everywhere in the world!!!
DW: Now see that wasn’t so bad! I am sure that all
the Divas are waiting to read your interview hot off the press! Thank you for taking the
